Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need prior political experience to volunteer?

Not at all! We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds and experience levels. We provide comprehensive training for all volunteer roles, and many of our most effective volunteers are first-timers who are passionate about creating change in Lang'ata.

How much time do I need to commit?

We appreciate any amount of time you can give. Some volunteers contribute a few hours each week, while others are more involved. We have flexible opportunities that can work around your schedule, whether you have a couple of hours or can commit to regular volunteering.

Will I receive training?

Yes! We provide training for all volunteer roles. This includes orientation sessions, role-specific training, and ongoing support from our volunteer coordinators. We want you to feel confident and equipped to represent our campaign effectively.

Can I volunteer from home?

Absolutely. We have several remote volunteering opportunities, including phone banking, digital outreach, data entry, and content creation. These roles allow you to contribute meaningfully without leaving your home.

Is there an age requirement to volunteer?

Volunteers must be at least 16 years old. For those under 18, we require parental consent. We have specific youth volunteer programs and welcome young people who are passionate about community development and leadership.
